Become a Coach

Coaches are the heart of our program! Each season, two or more volunteer coaches inspire and guide a team through our tried-and-true curriculum. If you're ready to directly make an impact, then this role is for you.

Become a junior Coach

Junior Coaches are needed to inspire the next generation! Our Junior Coach program is for high school girls aged 16 to 18. Beyond serving as a role model to program participants, Junior Coaches work alongside Coaches, strengthening their leadership skills and gaining a sense of belonging and purpose.

The Girls on the Run - DC 5K would not be possible without the help of amazing volunteers who believe in our mission and show up to support our girls. Whatever your special skills and talents, we have a role for everyone.

Team Adelaide

Team Adelaide (TA) is a group of trained volunteers who conduct site visit(s) to a Girls on the Run - DC team. Team Adelaide visits help Girls on the Run - DC to ensure uniform program delivery and quality. Upon completing their site visit and submitting an online survey, Team Adelaide Members will be given a code for free 5K entry!
