GOTR SCHOOL MEETING LOCATIONS

In order to alleviate congestion on the course we are instituting a WAVE START. Schools will be assigned one of three colors which will be indicated on their bib number. Schools will be called to the starting line by color.

All GOTR school teams, parents running with their daughters, and community running buddy runners will meet at the soccer field. Signs will be placed on the grass so teams can meet before and after the race.

RESTROOM FACILITIES, WATER, MEDICAL and POST -5K SNACKS

For your convenience portable toilets will be located at the start/finish area as well as along the course. Pre-race and on-course water will be available, and medical aid will be provided at the finish. As runners finish the 5K there will be an ample supply of food and water for participants.

PETS and STROLLERS

Please leave your pets, rollerblades and scooters at home! They will not be allowed on the course. Strollers are allowed but we request that you start at the back of the race for the safety of other runners. If you need wheelchair accommodation please contact eve@gotrdc.org.

MIND YOUR MANNERS

The course is closed to traffic and a portion of the course is out and back on a two-lane road. At times there will be faster runners passing slower runners and walkers along the course. Please be considerate of others and stay to the left side of the road to accommodate returning runners. Minding your manners on the course will help everyone have a fun and safe experience.
